At the new Expert store in Dieren, customer experience is the focus. The store has an inviting atmosphere, and as soon as a customer enters, the service-oriented staff enhances this feeling. Based on this vision, a layout has been created in collaboration with the entrepreneur and Expert that is both functional and welcoming. The new premises have been fully modernised, and the strategic store layout is driving an increase in sales of certain product categories.

Space and presentation in balance

The move to a larger premises has provided the store with significantly more opportunities for product displays. From 270 m² to 580 m²! The new premises have been fully modernised, from replacing the flooring to installing new ceilings and setting up new shelving. The product categories have been strategically distributed across the store. Larger televisions are now displayed more prominently, which has led to an increase in sales of the larger models. The accessory furniture also occupies prime positions and benefits from this additional space.

Calm and clarity

Clever layout

The store layout has a calm and organised appearance. Wide aisles, horizontal light lines that enhance the walking route, and clear sightlines from the entrance ensure that customers can easily find their way. The combination of floor pathways and strategic lighting contributes to a clear and intuitive shopping experience.

Visual and acoustic details enhance the atmosphere

The visuals and different flooring surfaces play a significant role in the store experience. The variation in flooring encourages customers to follow the store’s route. Additionally, the carpets also contribute to improved acoustics. Rick, owner of Expert ’s-Heerenberg and Expert Dieren, views these elements as enhancements to the shopping experience.

The built-in section as a showstopper

In line with the brand identity

One of the standout features in the store is undoubtedly the built-in section. With a separate flooring area and strategic positioning directly by the window display and right at the entrance, this section draws attention both inside and outside the store. Since the opening of the newly renovated location, sales of built-in appliances have significantly increased, highlighting the power of a well-thought-out store layout.
