What do you aim to achieve with your store design?
Challenge
In October 2022, the initial intake took place, and by December 2022, the grand opening was celebrated—requiring a tight schedule! With our multidisciplinary team, including a project manager, designer, and account manager, we successfully delivered a tailored store design for Lus. From concept and consultancy to painting, lighting, and bespoke interior solutions! The challenge in this project was transforming a bare commercial space with a ceiling height of six meters into a welcoming and atmospheric environment.
Turnkey interior design
Approach
The height of the space, while impressive and spacious, lacked the coziness and ambiance the client desired in the final result. To address this, we began by incorporating large design elements to connect the upper and lower areas, creating a more balanced proportion. Key features included a tree, a wooden house structure, a nearly 6-meter-high visual behind the demo kitchen, and a wooden slatted wall.
Next, the lighting plan was crafted to visually lower the ceiling. This was achieved by integrating track lighting and installing large skylights above the demo kitchen. Finally, we added warmth and character through carefully selected materials, completing the transformation into a welcoming and atmospheric space.

Result
Upon entering Lus, you’re immediately greeted by a warm, inviting, and homely ambiance. The space offers plenty to see and experience, from eye-catching elements at ground level to those placed higher up. The demo kitchen, in particular, serves as the central focal point, drawing attention and inviting interaction. It’s a hub for workshops, tastings, and casual coffee breaks, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
A unique element
Coffee section
A true eye-catcher is the wooden house with elegant lighting. Inside, you’ll find the relatively large coffee section. What’s special about this house is that it clearly defines the area, while still maintaining a spacious feel thanks to its open sides. Additionally, the products are presented in a unique and creative way.
